The Southwest plane quickly climbs again - out of harm's way - but not before rattling the nerves of those on board and those who see the footage as part of a recent string of events.
Less than two hours later, a Southwest Airlines flight avoided a collision with a jet crossing the runway at Chicago Midway International Airport. The FAA is now investigating the Chicago incident.
