For the first time this season the University of New Mexico men’s basketball has lost two games in a row. The Mountain West leading Lobos fell at San Diego State 73-65 Wednesday night. The Lobos shot 34% for the game as they struggled making baskets.

San Diego State will host New Mexico on Tuesday night looking to avoid getting swept by the Lobos for the first time since 2016-17. San Diego State has won nine of their past seven games as they look to position themselves for postseason play.
