The AFL has rescheduled two season-opening games in Queensland amid cyclone warnings, which forced other sports, including golf and surfing, to cancel events.
There is no gas shortfall in Queensland, and Queensland is not a drain on gas supply for southern states. Longer-term supply will depend on exploration successes and more development programs.
The Dolphins and Rabbitohs were set to begin their season on Friday night at Lang Park, but the league announced on Tuesday afternoon that the match would be moved to Sydney.
