The new Samsung Galaxy S25 series is now available worldwide. This lineup includes the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25 Plus, and Galaxy S25 Ultra, all featuring an array of advanced AI capabilities. Many of these features were highlighted during Samsung’s latest Galaxy Unpacked event, where the company announced the new phones. Many were not, however.

The Galaxy S25 has a new “suggested replies” feature that uses on-device AI to suggest replies to messages you receive.

The Galaxy S25 is yet another competent phone from Samsung. If you've been on your current device for a few years and you're shopping for something small and new, it's a fine pick. Still, I wish Samsung had moved the ball forward a little more this year — this is another in a line of very iterative Galaxy updates.

That’s right, DeX, the desktop mode that first debuted on the Galaxy S9 in 2018 and has been found on all Galaxy S series phones ever since, alongside other devices like the Galaxy Z series and a number of Galaxy Tablets. DeX has mostly been neglected, both by Samsung and potential copycats — but it certainly shouldn’t be that way.

As regular as clockwork, Samsung has launched its 2025 flagship phones trio, fronted by the Galaxy S25 Ultra. Beneath the big boss is this model on review, the Galaxy S25 Plus, acting as the middleman above the smaller-scale base S25 model.
