Clinton Portis, who rushed for just under 10,000 yards over nine NFL seasons and was a two-time Pro Bowl selection, has been named DeSean Jackson's running backs coach and run game coordinator at Delaware State.

Both the Norfolk State Vikings and Delaware State Hornets hired former NFL stars to run their programs, with the Vikings hiring four-time Pro Bowl quarterback Michael Vick while the Hornets hired his former teammate and All-Pro receiver,
