A suspect in the fatal stabbing of a Cal Fire captain in San Diego County was identified by sheriff's officials Thursday, who said the suspected killer remains at large.

RAMONA, Calif. (KGTV) — The San Diego County Sheriff's Office has publicly identified the suspect who stabbed and killed a Cal Fire captain at a Ramona home Monday evening. According to the sheriff's office, deputies are looking for 53-year-old Yolanda Marodi, also known as Yolanda Olenjniczak, in connection to the killing of Rebecca Marodi.

Deputies from the San Diego Sheriff's Office found Rebecca Marodi, 49, in her home with multiple stab wounds on Monday. She died at the scene.

Rebecca Marodi, a Cal Fire captain stationed in Riverside County, was found stabbed to death inside of her own home in Ramona on Monday evening, authorities said.

According to the sheriff's office, 53-year-old Yolanda Marodi, who is also known as Yolanda Olenjniczak, is wanted in connection with the death of Rebecca "Becky" Marodi.
