Two transgender girls who attend high school in New Hampshire challenged the Trump administration’s recent executive order banning transgender girls and women from participating in girls’ sports, according to a court filing.

Their litigation appears to be the first direct challenge to an order that threatens to ‘rescind all funds’ from programs that fail to enforce sex-based separation.

Until the issue is resolved one way or another, the current bylaw allowing transgender student participation remains in place.
