There should be a break in storms for a few hours late afternoon into early evening, but high-resolution modeling suggests a few isolated storms are possible close to sunset. Following this, colder air will begin to move in during the late evening and overnight hours with a few showers and even some snowflakes mixing in just before daybreak Monday.

Storm threat windows on Sunday look to come in two rounds. The first is between 6 a.m. through noon. The second is between 3 p.m. through 7 p.m. The first round of storms will arrive near sunrise. These will again be decaying storms that have developed to our west. The severe threat with these is low but not zero.

Sunday is our next Weather Alert Day, as a potent storm system will bring scattered heavy to possibly severe storms through central Florida.
