Tom Brady had a message for Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes as Kansas City tries for a three-peat in Super Bowl LIX on Sunday. Brady had a chance to do the same with the Patriots after winning in the 2003 and 2004 season, but didn’t make it back to the Super Bowl the following year. If Mahomes and the Chiefs pull it off, it will be historic.

Uche isn’t participating in Super Bowl LIX with the Patriots, of course. He’s one of seven members of the Chiefs — six players and a coach — who were traded or let go by the Patriots in recent years. There was an eighth, but the Browns signed quarterback Bailey Zappe off the Chiefs’ practice squad in Week 8.

Following his 20 seasons in New England, Brady went on to sign with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In the first season with his new team, Brady won his seventh Super Bowl and fifth Super Bowl MVP, defeating the Chiefs once again. That was the first playoff loss of Mahomes' career.
