North Bay residents got a break from this week’s storms and a chance to see more of the damage from all the rainfall on Wednesday.

Despite Wednesday's sunny weather, the Sonoma County Sheriff's Office said that previous evacuation orders along the Russian River​ prompted by this week's atmospheric river are still in effect.

According to a Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office social media post, the house was unoccupied and fell due to a mudslide.

Lawson was able to control her enough to swim across the river and hold onto ... while they saved her from drowning Sunday in the Russian River, the Sonoma County Sheriff's Office said.
