India’s Parliament has been disrupted as opposition lawmakers protested the alleged mistreatment of 104 Indian immigrants deported by the United States

India will continue to raise concerns to the US regarding the 'mistreatment' of deported Indian immigrants, Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri said as he emphasised that India has been cooperative in identifying citizens.

The deportation came a week before Trump is expected to meet Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Washington. All immigrants, barring children, were handcuffed during the flight, The Times of India and the Indian Express newspapers reported,
