A woman was killed in Russia's Belgorod border region on Wednesday when a Ukrainian drone struck her car, the regional governor said. Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said the woman had died on the spot. Belgorod has frequently come under Ukrainian shelling during the nearly three-year-old conflict.

Russia launched ballistic missiles and more than 100 drones in a wave of attacks across Ukraine overnight that killed three people and injured at least 16, including a child, authorities said.
