Wyndham Clark withdrew from The Players Championship in the middle of his second round due to a neck injury. Clark had just finished closing out his front nine of the second round with a 4-over 40 when he was shown shaking the hands of playing partners Jordan Spieth and Danny Walker on the Golf Channel broadcast.

There's been a fourth withdrawal from the 2025 Players Championship. Wyndham Clark made the decision after nine holes Friday. He shot an even-par 72 in Thursday's first round but triple-bogeyed the second hole Friday,

Justin Thomas has been on hand for both rounds of 62 shot at TPC Sawgrass during The Players Championship. In 2023, the former Alabama All-American was the playing partner for Tom Hoge, who set the course record with a 10-under-par round.

Despite a bogey on 18, Justin Thomas fired a jaw-dropping 62 that tied the TPC Sawgrass record (Tom Hoge, 2023) and gave him a whopping 16-shot improvement over Thursday's 78.
