Music icon Paul McCartney treated a lucky crowd of 500 to a two-hour set that spanned 60-years of hits — for just $50 a ticket!

"We had a blast-and you were the blasters!," Paul McCartney told the crowd at the end of his surprise Tuesday show at New York City. McCartney played a spontaneous gig at the Bowery Ballroom, a beloved rock bar on the Lower East Side that holds only 575 people.

McCartney, who was spotted Sunday at the Super Bowl in New Orleans chatting with Adam Sandler, was in New York for the upcoming “Saturday Night Live” 50th anniversary festivities. He’s to be a guest on the star-studded television special Sunday.
