It's been a whirlwind for Keyshawn Davis. The newly-crowned WBO lightweight champion of the world is less than a week into his reign and the reality of his accomplishment is settling in.

Keyshawn Davis became the WBO lightweight champion of the world on February 14 when he knocked out the previously undefeated Denys Berinchyk in the fourth round of their bout. In doing so, Davis asserted himself as a serious presence in what's undoubtedly one of the most exciting weight divisions in all of boxing.

Keyshawn Davis became a world champion Friday night, knocking out Denys Berinchyk to capture the WBO lightweight title at The Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York. In a dominant performance, Davis dropped Berinchyk twice and ended the fight with a vicious left hook to the body that crumpled the champion midway through Round 4.
