A well-known Democrat from a key swing state has stunningly said he’s open to President Donald Trump’s idea for the U.S. to take over the Gaza Strip. Sen. John Fetterman (D-Pa.) called Trump’s idea “provocative,” The Hill reported, but said the proposal is “part of the conversation.”

The president reiterates that the idea would mean resettling Palestinians, and that no US soldiers would be needed.
