An anonymous accuser who alleged the two rappers had assaulted her when she was 13 has withdrawn her civil claim.

The lawsuit against Jay-Z and Sean Combs was dismissed after the plaintiff voluntarily withdrew the case, as both men denied the allegations.

A Jane Doe who alleged Sean “Diddy” Combs and Jay-Z sexually assaulted her 25 years ago has withdrawn her lawsuit against them.

The lawsuit against Sean “Diddy” Combs and Jay-Z over the alleged rape of a 13-year-old girl in 2000 has been dismissed by the attorney representing the Jane Doe, according to a court filing made on Friday in New York.

In her complaint, the anonymous plaintiff had accused the rappers of drugging and sexually assaulting her at a party more than two decades ago, when she was 13.

Sean “Diddy” Combs is still facing a criminal trial in May over sex trafficking and more, as well as dozens of sexual assault cases, but the Bad Boys Records founder and Jay-Z are now no longer are being accused of raping a 13-year-old girl back in 2000.

Feb. 14, 2025 A high-profile suit accusing Combs and fellow rapper Jay-Z of raping a 13-year-old in 2000 was dropped by the plaintiff’s lawyers, after both Combs and Jay-Z denied the allegations (Read more about it here ).

A court filing indicates that the lawsuit, filed by Houston lawyer Tony Buzbee, was dropped Friday against both rappers. Last December, the unidentified accuser added Jay-Z, husband to Houston-born artist Beyonce, to a previous lawsuit in which she said she was sexually assaulted by Combs during an MTV Video Awards after party in 2000.
