Daniel Craig is sharing his praise for producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli after news broke that the pair have passed creative control of the James Bond franchise to Amazon MGM Studios.

Daniel Craig is raising a (martini) glass to James Bond’s long-time producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli, who announced on Thursday their plans to step back from the 007 franchise and cede creative control to Amazon MGM.

The studio is now looking for a replacement and The Bear star Jeremy Allen White is now in the running, per THR. DC fans are feeling optimistic about the choice, with one taking to Reddit to write, "I like Daniel Craig but this would be an upgrade as Jeremy is younger and closer in age to the character."

The actor is no longer attached to star in Sgt. Rock, the DC Studios feature project that would have reunited him with his Queer director Luca Guadagnino. The feature has a script from screenwriter Justin Kuritzkes, who penned Guadagnino’s Challengers and Queer .
