Free Tours by Foot offers a New York One Day Tour - it gives an amazing overview of the city to visitors. It's something to consider if you don't want to have a private tour. We did this tour and had a great time seeing several areas of the city in one day.
Hi, I'm interested in a tour. How many people are in a tour group? Also, how can I find out if the guide uses a microphone? I'm a little hard of hearing. The reviews mention some guides having microphones but it seems to depend on the guide and is not a "requirement" for the guides. Thanks!

Not sure how you would find out about microphones; ours used one. The group was large, about 22 people, although some dropped out along the way.
